The BCS National Championship

The BCS National Title Game: Alabama vs. Texas

Well this is it. The big game. There has been a lot of hype, and all of it wrong. While Alabama’s defense is strong, they don’t have a player that is nearly has dominant as Ndamukong Suh. That player is what lead to the close game between Nebraska and Texas in the Big 12 championship. While Terrence Cody is a good player, as is Javiar Arenas and Renaldo McClain, none of them have that kind of game changing ability. Also The Alabama offense is one-dimensional and that one dimension is vastly overrated. While I appreciate the fact that Mark Ingram runs hard, I don’t see him as the kind of player that can take hold and change a game of this magnitude. Texas’ defense has been able to put large amounts of pressure on QBs all through this season and will be able to so in this contest. I think it will be close, but I got Texas in the upset. Hook ‘em Horns.

Prospects to Watch in this Game

Pick any starter on either team any you got yourself someone who is likely to be drafted or picked up in free agency. I’m not going to waste time with it. Just enjoy.
