The Outback Bowl: Northwestern vs. Auburn
Northwestern has been a very up and down this season, pulling a big upset against Iowa, but still losing to a middle of the road Minnesota team. Auburn has been a surprise and has had one of their best offensive seasons. Traditional Auburn pass rush should be able to counter the spread offense and Mike Kafka, the Northwestern QB. Auburn wins.
Prospects to Watch in this Game
Northwestern, Defensive End, Corey Wootton: Athletic, quick off-the-ball DE. A good pass rusher who borders the first round as DE, will also get s good look as a outside linebacker in the 3-4.
Auburn, Defensive End/Outside Linebacker, Antonio Coleman: Very similar to Corey Wootton, but a little smaller. Has good potential as a nickel pass rusher. A mid round prospect.
